Ada County is comprised of five cities (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Garden City & Kuna). Within Ada County there are three school districts, Boise, Meridian and Kuna School districts. The Boise School District covers only part of Boise City and most of Garden City. The Meridian School District covers ALL of Meridian, Eagle, and part of Boise.

Q. Which district is the best?

A. My experience has been that all the districts are very good. Most people I have encountered feel that the district their children are enrolled in is the best.

Q. Is this a good school?

A. What is a good school is a very personal choice and sometimes can be very subjective. I have included links below for all School Districts for your review. I would suggest that you visit with the principal of the school your children may be enrolled in. Many times we can refer you to parents who have children within that school.

Q. What school district is Eagle in?

A. The city of Eagle is located in the Meridian School District.

The Boise School District has 34 elementary schools, 8 junior high schools, and 5 high schools serving 27,000 students. The District employs over 3,200 people, of whom almost 1,700 are certified personnel.
